Hello Budgie fans!:)

As many of you know unfortunately..Marit and Tybo had to leave the competition.:( So...I bet you are all thinking that now we won't be having a double elimination after all...well... we did too. BUT..then we thought of a great twist! You guys love twists right?:P

Here it is...
We are going through with the double eliminations after all and for the first time in TBNTM history we are holding a casting call and it's open to all members of Talk Budgies.!

Here is what you need to do to enter...
You will not be entering in the Member of the Public thread since that part of the competition is closed. Instead..you will send a photo of your Budgie doing this weeks challenge..."World Traveler" Please see week 5 to read up on the challenge.:) You will also need to send along with your photo..a short paragraph telling us why your Budgie should be Talk Budgie's Next Top Model.

The producers will choose a new contestant from these entries and you will be placed in a top spot at the beginning of the next challenge in week six to begin officially competing in the competition!:D

So if you have been disappointed that you didn't make it in before or you kept putting off becoming a Member of the Public for whatever reason..this is your FINAL chance for a shot at becoming Talk Budgie's Next Top Model!:D

Gasp!:eek: I know you're thinking that this isn't much time, but no worries we are going to extend the deadline by a couple of days...so all contestants including those participating in the Casting Call have until Friday the 16th to get your photos in to Pippin's mom!

The producers would like to thank one of our judges..Brazilianangel...for the idea for this great twist!:D

We know this will cause a small delay in the competition, but it will also give you all a short break before the next challenge to regroup and get your Budgies in tip top shape...because the next challenge will be X-tremely challenging!:eek: So get rested up, plied with millet, and prepare yourselves for the most difficult challenge yet this season...coming up in week 6!:D

A second chance? :eek: Really?

Awesome! I can't miss this. :p I've gotta give it a shot. I thought I had no hope of getting in because I was too busy the first couple of weeks to participate. I'm really excited! :D

It sucks that Marit and Tybo had to leave, though. :( I really loved Tybo, he's so adorable! :love:

That's right..everyone who was not a previously voted out contestant get's another chance!:D I'm so glad you plan to enter Masae! We hope to see a lot more entries as well!

The winner get's a lot of great prizes this season including having their Budgie's photo made into an official logo for talk budgies!

Get those entries in!:D

That's great I was feeling a little stressed about not getting it in on time! The sets are becoming harder to make :P

Oh and to be fair..any contestants who have already entered your photos for week 5 also have until Friday the 16th. So if you want to try to get a better shot or do something different with props..you may submit a different photo from the one you already sent and we will switch them out. If you are happy with the photo you already sent in that's fine..we'll leave it as is, but if anyone felt a bit rushed and want a do over this is your chance.:) This is the only time a do over will be permitted in the competition.:)

I'm so pleased that everyone likes this idea.:) It adds a bit of fun and suspense.

I going to stick with the photo I sent in today. I like it and we had fun taking it. :D

Sorry Arlene..I missed this the first time around.:o You have until Friday evening. Then the judges and producers will take the weekend to make their decisions and we'll post the eliminations, new Casting Call contestant, and the new challenge either sunday evening or Monday morning depending how quickly or not the decisions are made.:P

Have fun everyone! :) I'm sorry I have to go.. :( I wish I didn't had to, but I just have too much homework, and not enough time to make a set and make some good pictures. I had a great time competing in TBNTM, and so did Tybo! :D

We hope you and Scrabble will enter Aly!:) You were not a VOTED out contestant and you had to leave the competition before for circumstances out of your control and you were welcomed back as a MOTP..so YES...send in an entry!:D
