I don't think I would risk it even though the flowers of the plant when dried and brewed with Eucalyptus leaves make a good tea for upset stomach. It might have some ill effects on your bird. I used to live in Mexico and we used it all the time for stomach troubles. That and thoroughly cooked and grounded papaya seeds that have been powdered. The seeds were disgusting though.
