does anyone have any advice on how to tame 2 one year old budgies without seperating them? i realize that as long as they are together they will probably never truly "love" me but i want them to look forward to seeing me and allowing me to hold them with out them chomping my fingers. any help would be appreciated.

What do they do when you put your hand in their cage?

when i put my hand in their cage they get nervous and then if i move it to close to them they fly away to other perches.

Prehaps you could separate them and work on them one at a time?

well i have 2 babies & its taken roughly 3 weeks almost to gain their confidence. i sat with my arm in the cage not moving it so they got use to it,then i held some millet & i just waited patiently for them to come & look.first they landed on my arm then today i had them both perched on my fingers. i think the key to success if you want to tame 2 together is patience.the trick that seemed to work for me ,is that they only get millet from me when my hand is in their cage .if you dont want to seperate them then be very patient, its definately harder with 2,but can be done.
