A good way to interest them in other veggies and fruits are to sprinkle seeds or treats in along with them. They will probably pick at the seeds and accidently take a taste of the veggies and start to like it.

Getting budgies to enjoy a variety of veggies is tough and take a while. But be patient and they will soon enjoy it as a staple.

It's good that you have already tried putting in the veggies during the day and the seeds at night. This works nicely for budgies too.

My budgies are really picky too, I found this really awesome food, it's called... uh... hold on, I gotta go get it. Hartz Bonanza Parakeet Gourmet Diet. And it's got like, bits of dried fruits and veggies right in with oats and seed and different types of millet. And after a couple of weeks of that, they started trying more of the fresh fruits and veggies I offered them. Maybe I can find some link to this food...

that's the one. Like softie said, I think they were eating the seeds, and tasted the fruits and veggies, and started to like them. Good luck. :)
