How many budgies total

At one time, while living in New Orleans, I had slightly over 300. That was only because I bought out another breeder in order to get some good stock. I quickly sold about 200. My normal flock was anywhere from 80 to 100.

I have 29 right now but, if all goes as planned, will have a lot more shortly.

I think think it's nice adopting amimals, they actually need a loving home. *everyones heart's melt and they all go and adopt housefulls of animals* Gosh that was long!

I agree with all of you who have the "Budgie Fever." (If you build it, they will come!!!!) For those of you who don't know what that means, it comes from a movie. Don't you think that phrase would apply to Budgies, also? After all - some of you are building aviaries and then the Budgies just keep on coming, ha! :laughing1:

I bought my first 2 Budgies in June, but then I had to have one more, so now I have 3. When our new Pet Store opens soon, I just may have to go for number 4. Actually, I looked yesterday at another Pet Store but they didn't have any that looked healthy so I walked out empty-handed.

Hey, ETA Hoffman has been breeding Budgies by the hundreds. Since we know that he does a great job and cares about the health of his Budgies, maybe he would consider going into business and shipping some Budgies to us. I think that sounds like a great idea, don't you? Yes, he could photograph and catalog them and we could order from him, online. :D

So many of you Budgie owners amaze me.

Maybe someday I'll catch up with you when it comes to owning more Budgies.
