Virtual Horse Ranch!

Virtual Horse Ranch is a game that is based on wetern riding and out in the country.its, well, a virtual horse game!
it saught of tells a story we make up as we go along.you be a person and a horse.
for your person character, you start of as a newbie and work your way up, the longer yourve played this game and the things you do\say on your game can apply you for certain other things, like for my person to ask your person if they would like to work at the stables or become the vet.
for your horse character the horses do other things like the better work they do and the better ways they do it will help them to position into other things.
please play this game as it took ages to make it up, and all your guys really need to do is help tell a story, and act your characters!!!!!!
ok ill start so you get where we were going.

(first of all you introduce your characters.)

JOB: owner and so far manager of isola ranch.(all other people start of as newbie and get given a job as they play)

Isola western ranch, was a ranch full of memories.
it was a ranch that was built many years ago,
but was deserted and left to rot.
But before it was left long enough to grow mold, a young ladie Karla Claw had seen Isola on her "to see the family" trip, in america, and had seen the magnificent ranch.there she planded to stay then breed,train, show and set up her own lesson ranch. so that she did. Karla owned 9 horses but was only allowed to bring one over seas as of the cost. That was blue.blue was a 15 hh black roan stallion and was worth more than the ranch its self. Karla was to live in the ranch house, and wasnt to worry about blue's accomapany as there were many paddocks and stables there for him and for people that were to join her ranch.it was 3:00 and still daylight as Karla led blue off the float into a paddock full of juicy grass. she led him to him paddock and slid off the rope halter.she had been over this farm and ranch many times but had brought it only yesterday when her family and her had set up the ranch house ready for her to live in..this was the start of her new carrer.she watched blue for 'round about 20 minutes then went to get supplies for when the others arrived. her dog creme ( a long haired chihuahua ) jumped on her lap as they locked the gates and set off to the closest town.an hour later they rolled back up the drive, Karla's car and float full with every thing your would ever need to house about 20 horses for a year, and for the ranch too! karla put all the tack and grooming gear in the sweet wooden rooms, and lay the feed bags and hay on the cold marble floor, she put one of the new covers on blue, then at 6:00 went to the ranch house and ate dinner before sleeping in her bed ready for the next day.

Julie had been looking for a new ranch ever since the owners of her current one decided to sell it to the bank for land. She only had one week left before the ranch was destroyed. After almost losing hope of finding a ranch as good as the one she was at was lost. She had looked at all the adds posted and couldn't found one she liked. The next day, the day before the ranch was going to be destroyed, she overheard people talking. They were talking a ranch their friend opened up. When she asked them about, they gave her directions to go check it out herself. When she got there she was so impressed with the fencing in the paddocks and the shape of the barn, as she knew it was an old ranch. She saw a beautiful roan stallion grazing in one of the paddocks. She went up to the stables and found Karla cleaning her tack. Julie and Karla discussed the history of the ranch and Karla gave her a tour of the stables. She showed Julie all the roomy stalls, where the feed was stored, the watering system and the tack room. Julie was so impressed she wanted to board right away. She told Karla about her troubles of finding a barn and Karla was happy to let her board starting today! Julie thanked Karla then went back to trailer Taja from her old ranch. Wen she went he was out grazing in the pasture with his friends for the last time. When he saw her familiar car he ran to the edge of the gate, ears pricked forward, ready to greet her. She grabbed an apple like always and went to see her beloved friend. She slipped his halter over his head, grabbed the lead shank and brought him into his stall. She talked to him and told him how much fun he would have at his new ranch, even bigger than this one. She loaded all her tack and horse things into the storage area in the trailer. She then groomed Taja and wrapped his legs so he wouldn't injure them during the short trip. She loaded him up in the trailer and they were off. When she arrived at Isola Western Ranch Karla was waiting for them. Together they unloaded Taja and all his things. They brought Taja into the paddock next to Blue so they could get familiar with each other, and hopefully be out together one day. Taja studied Blue from afar and gradually got closer. Blue, anxious for company, ran right up to the edge of the fence. Eventually Taja worked up the courage to go and see his new friend. Julie was so pleased with the ranch and spent the rest of the day organizing Taja's things.

Karla watched the horses for a while, but soon invited julie for a ride around the ranch, isloa was quite large, but they had enough time for an hours trek. Also blue was hipe, and needed some exersize.
she walked up to julie "would you like to come for an hour or so trek, before you go home? so your horse can see, and also to get him some exersise????"karla questioned.if no, maybe tomorrow?
Blue whinnied at his favourite word "trek" other than that is was dinner, but for now it was trek.he paued the dirt with his hoof,
waiting for julie to awnser.

just as julie and karla were talking, a horse float rolled up the drive.karla appoligised to julie , and went to greet her new friend.
in the car driving the float was a 15 year old girl called meghan and her father.they got meghan and tayo's gear out, and put in away. Then meghan lead tayo of the float. Tayo, meghan and karla walked to a paddock on the other side of blue.and put him in there with his slice of hay.then they went to walk around with julie explaining the ranch, and showing meghan all the places.
just as they were to begin, another horse float drove up, this time an 11 year old girl and her mother.blue began to whinnie, the was a whinnie back, from inside to float. julie said they should show both of them around, instead of to different trips, so they all went to greet the girl.witch they soon learnt was called angelica.they puit her gear, away first, then led tabu her horse, into a paddock on the other side of tayo.then they begone there motor bike around the ranch.karla explained all the detailes. karla was excited, she now had 3 people attending her beloved ranch, and it was all go. once the girls had arrived back at the ranch, they caughht there horses and put them in there stalls for the night.blue was now very happy to have losts of horses in the ranch.it was 3:00 once the girls had all finished putting there horses away for the night, and had decided since it was the first day opening the ranch they would sit outside and talk about them selves so they could get to know each other.karla started,

im karla, im 30 years old and own a black roan american Quarter Horse named blue. he is a stud, and is up for breeding, but for a thousand dollar fee.
i also own another pet, she is a long haried chihuahua called creame.i own this ranch, and liv in the ranch house! if you would like, this ranch is a bording, and if you are allowed and\or and are old enough you can bord here.
i love chocolate, and the colour blue, ( hehe, and the horse blue,) but i dont want to yab on, so......megah, angelica, julie? who would like to go next???

if theres a little girl come for lessons, and karla has to go and buy some more hay, lets say........meghan or angelica steps in and gives her lessons, since karla forgot, they may get a job as a instructor help, at the ranch. get it????? ok .:D

I had just finished packing the trailer. I double checked the tires and the lights then headed back towards the corral. I grabed the halter laying on the front of the truck as I went past. The dark grey colt nickered his welcome as I strided up. I opened the gate and swung the rope over his neck before neatly buckling the halter on his fine head. I led him out and glaced over my shoulder, he sure was a fine animal, short and compact, build for reining and cutting. He was quick on his feet and cow savvy. His hide rippled over his shoulders and quarters. Even with his conditioning you could still see glimmers of the gangly young horse he was quickly growing out of. I smiled and rubbed his nose, he was a good boy.
We reached the trailer and he loaded with ease. I settled into the truck, turned the ignition, and we where off. As I drove down the road I lost myself to my thoughts. The city had been expanding for the last couple years, developmental projects and housing developments where going up left and right. What had been broad open range was now a busy industrial infrastucture. I had been faced with two choices, stick around and be submitted to living and keeping a horse in a closed in barn with minimual land, or move. I had acquired Johnny as a weanling at auction, dirt cheap, it took a little digging to find his papers, but it was worth it. He was decended from some of the top reining and cutting horses out there. And now as a promising youngster he was beginning to prove his pedigree. I mused over that thought, I wanted a place where he could be a horse, where I could hone his skills and make him the top cutting horse he is capable of becoming. But I didn't want arenas and stalls, but open land and blue sky. I sighed, that's why I had chose this ranch. High in the mountains and away from everything it offered the perfect place to live, train, ride, and eventually, buy a mare or two and get some foals.
The hours slipped away and soon we where driving down a long dirt road, it toped a hill and banked away down into a beautiful valley. Below I could see the lay of the ranch, the big house, the barns and paddocks, and beyond, acre upon acre of grassland that ended at the base of towering peaks. I grinned, yes, I knew I was home.
I pulled in the drive and heading for the barns. I brought the rig to a stop and leap out to unload a very impaitent colt. It had been a long drive and he was anxious to streatch his legs. A note on the barn indicated which paddock would be his, I turned him lose and he took off bucking and cantering around the enclosure. I grinned and quickly checked his water and threw him a few flakes of hay.
I turned to the act of unloading the trailer then finding Karla and to discover where I might find a bed.

(okay, so I had to much fun with that, told ya, rp/simming is my thing).

p.s. Julie, 15.2 ain't big for an arab!! That's average. I go to a welsh pony show every year that's held at the same place and time as an arab show, and the horses winning are 15.2-16hh. I have yet to see an Arab at that show who is under 15.2! There was this one absolutely gorgeous Arab stallion that won the championships that couldn't have been smaller than 15.3.

karla told the people to carry on talking, she had a new visitor araiving. she walked out and heading to the paddock when she met emily . hiya emily! she said.i understand that you are boarding here? oh and this must be johnny. she lifted her hand above her eyes, sheilding them from the sun. well, its awesome to have more people join today. they walked over to johnny, as he walked up to the fence."hopefully you wil be staying with us for a long time" she spoke as she stroked his silver neck.
she turned to emily again. i guess thats both of us with stallions hopeing to breed! she smiled.its ok, if day staying, the limit of horses you can have is 3, but if boarding, you can have up to five, as long as you can care for them all.i moved to america, from newzealand and could only bring one of my eight horses, as of expence.would you like to come over and meet blue? she grinned at emily again, karla knew she spoke TOO much.:)

I turn towards Karla with a grin,
"Hey! It's nice to meet you!" I give Johnny a pat, "Well, as for now I plan on staying here long term to work with Johnny boy here." Johnny nudged me and I obliged, palming a treat for him to munch.
"Sure, I'd love to meet Blue!" Karla turns and I follow her to her horse's pen.



[p.s. haha!! I really don't know that much about reining and cutting. I mostly compeat and ride in show jumping and dressage. Though, I do get to do western pleasure with the welsh ponies, which is a ton of fun! I just think that reining and cutting are awesome! I've watched a couple reining competitions and it's realy impresive I think. In real life I'm working on teaching my TB how to do roll backs and spins, hehe, for a dressage horse he doesn't do that bad!]

blue whinned as we approched him. we snorted at me, and i gave him a hug."its awesome you are boarding here! karla said.
oh i better see the others off, she giggled, as it was nearly five oclock, and had left the others on there own for nearly half an hour. then we could go for a trek, or a ride if you like! she ran over to the others.10 minutes past as the last car drove down the drive way. karla shut the stables top door, and put the horses to sleep with a couple of handfulls of hay. there were only two horses left in the paddocks, johnny and blue.now, about that ride, karla whispered to emily, we could go have and early dinner now, then ride in the dark, or ride now, then have a late dinner when we arrive home. wich will it be?



i know allot about cuting, its really fun, i havnt tried showing reining, but have had practises at doing it. :D

I grabbed Johnny's halter, "Lets go now." I turned towards the mountains, "A sunset ride sounds just about perfect!"
I led Johnny out and tied him up outside the barn. I ducked inside and was back out with a handful of brushes. I quickly set to work currying and brushing his coat. I picked his feet then walked back in for his saddle. In a few minutes I had the cinch tight and everything in order, I sliped the bridle over his head and looked towards Karla, "You ready?" I grinned holding the horse in one hand while I firmly settled my hat down on my head.



Awesome! Yeah, I'm hoping to do eventing this summer. Jumping is what I love! I just ride/show western as a side thing, when I'm bored of english. :D

shure thing! she reached for her cap, "i really cant be bothered with a helmet" she said.she pulled herself up onto the saddle. just one sec, she smiled, she walked blue around for a couple of minutes, he a bit hipe, so im just gunna be like 3 minutes ok? she galloped blue down his paddock, then galloped back again.blue panted, but his ears were pricked and he was ready to go.he roared a bit at johnny, but then decided he was no thret, and only snorted when he came to close.karla patted blues rump, then waited for the go signal from emily.



i tried english, but it wasnt my thing.i loved the jumping, but the rest seemed to boar me, but with western....i dunno, its just different.lol.

While Karla warms up Blue I just let Johnny walk on a loose rein, he looked around, head up, then let out a breath and relaxed.
Johnny snorted and pawed when Blue came up, but I gave a little kick and he quit. "Shall we be off?" I point towards the fields, "Lets head towards that hill."
We move towards the gate and I easily reach down and open it up. Once out in the open I let him settle into a jog. After a few minutes of just watching the mountains I glace over at Karla, "Care to race?" With that I moved my hand forward and gave a kick and Johnny was off. His mane whipped back in the breeze as he stretched out into a fast gallop.



Yeah, not everybody likes english. For me, I love dressage because it is so challenging, and when you actually get up into the upper levels it can get to be alot of fun. Yeah, western is different! I love it whenever I get to show western pleasure on the ponies, that is a blast.

kala squeazed blue into another racing gallop. he strides his legs, and breathes deep, we pace over the flat ground, blues tail whipps his rump in the breeze.

I lean forward and give a little kiss, Johnny leaps forward and flattens into a run. I feel his body heaving under me and then quickly grab my hat before it get's blown away! The two horses race neck and neck, both reveling in their moment of freedom. As we pass a large fir I sit up and begin easing Johnny back to a leisurly lope, it would be dark and cold soon, it wouldn't do good for a sweaty horse to catch his chill.
I call to Karla on Blue, "Guess that one will have to be a tie! Perhaps next time one of these two hot shots will be able to outpace the other!" I grin as we lope around and up a small hill. I bring Johnny back to a walk and let him cool off as we walk along the ridge and down into a valley.

we slow down to a walk. and deside to go home. its getting dark, a moonlit ride sounds fun, but blue is getting tried, we walk home, blues head hanging low......but still spooking at his shadow occasionally, silly horse. as we get home, i un tack blue then brush him down, i spray him with water in my little spray bottle as not to get him wet, but still cool him down, then cover him. he will stay in a paddock tonight.i chuck him a lump of hay.
emily, julie and i walk to the bording rooms.the beds are made and i put some food in the fridges,
some fresh fruit, some bread and some spreads. then i get dinner ready, we go to the little kitchen, and cook up a quick and simple meal of milo, and toasted sandwiches!
i say goodnight to them the go to the ranch house. i try to sleep but creames annoying yap keeps me awake.i struggle to get up and waddle to creame.
i stand on something soft then jump up.thats what creama is barking at!!!!!
laying under the kitchen table is a couple of little baby birds. im not shure what they are, but pick them up.they cheep at me.they dont look wild, as there colours are to bright.....i rap them up in my dressing gown and take them over to emily and julie, i knew they had some experience about birds, and maybe they could tell me what these three parrot like babys were. i slowley walked over to the rooms and nocked on the doors.*knock knock knock* *knock knock knock*

"What do you got?"
I yawn and cover my mouth. "Sorry..." I mumble as I peer into the bundle in her hands.

well, the barn was givin to me recently after my parents died. I bough a magnifacient reining horse that will be used for reining and maybe lessons. he is gorgeous. He really cheered me up after the car accident that took the lifes of my parents. I hope to finish training him soon, as he is not fully broke.

once julie or emily has awnsered my bird question, it can finish there and be the next morning where bella and her horse joins.....gosh! we now have 3 stallions! and lots of geldings, any mares yet anyone?
