sky has died

my moms partner woke me up at 2.05 am this morning and told me my budgie sky was very ill he was lying on the bottom of his cage i got him out he was very cold but still alive i gave him a cuddle to warm him up and at 2.10 am he looked in to my eyes and passed away in my hand i think it was his way of saying thank you and goodbye i think he had a heart attack as he put his head back and his legs went stiff im so upset i only had him july but the time we spent together will never be forgotten i will try and get a picture on soon so you can all see how beutifull he was

Oh I am so sorry to hear about Sky's passing. I am glad you were there for the little fellow during his last few moments though...that must have meant a lot to you. My thoughts are with you sweety. May he join the other little sweeties who have left us...

I'm VERY SORRY about Sky. It is so sad that you lost him. As hard as it was for you to hold him when he died, it was good that you could be there for him at the time of his passing.

Right now we are facing our dog having seizures. We've adjusted the meds and he was fine for a couple of months and now he's having seizures really bad again. It is so hard to watch him during these episodes and it makes me sick. I myself wonder if he'll even be with us much longer. There is never an easy time to lose a pet we love.

thank you all for your kind comments, it was very sad that sky died in my hands but i was happy in a way that i got to say goodbye and not get up to find he had gone alone angel is very upset i think she is pining for him they had been together 3 years (since they were babies) any ideas on how to cheer her up?

Dear Sara, I am really sorry about Sky.. I've recently lost my Sakis, he died in my hands and I know exactly how you feel.. I can't give you good advices becase I am devastated too.. But I can send you a big hug. Tak care please..
