major progress!!

I am amazed! I haden't handled my birds for about 2 days, (family reasons) but I got doodles out to play. I thought he would be all untame but he ran and jumped streight onto my hand!

He also stayed on my shoulder longer than usual.

I blocked off his paths where he usually gets to his cage so he has to rely on me. It worked! I am so happy!

Glad to hear it Lucy, I too am having a better tme with my Willow, he is hand trained but once out of his cage he is a nightmare, and I meen a nightmare he will just fly and fly and will not come to me, so I have been keeping him in his cage for a day and then try again the next, but today he was great and it only took about 5 mins to get him to go back in his cage bless him. Just hoping he is going to be ok once he meets Skyla, and not play me up lol xxx

Its a wonderful feeling, trust. :) I feel that he can trust me, he has no reason not to.

Its great because I get him out, put him on my shoulder and he sits there a long while. Usually he trys to get back to his cage. If he goes off to his cage now, not as often, he realises he cant get to it and comes to me to help him. Its so cute!

Thanks :D My flightsuits arrived today... shame they are a tad big. I got the English budgie size:mad: ! I needed a size smaller. And because they lost my order, I got another suit free. So now I have three harnesses which don't fit.



He let me put one on him though :) Hes better with it off, and he stays on my shoulder.

Well he has already worn it, and because it was too big he kept putting his feet inside and clawing it all up. x

I love the red one actually sweetie, let me know how much you want for it, and how much for postage and will send you a postal order, thats if you dont mind giving out your address etc, I understand if you dont. You could use a box number with your local newspaper building, I know we have one here where I live xxxx

sorry! The red one is the one I have been using to get the pattern for it :( It was a spontanious thing last night. You can have either or both of the other two.

For one it is £10.25

for two it is £20.50
