Emerson The Other Budgie!

Well he isn't really a Budgie, but he thinks he is :p. It all started when I first got him in August he was very fond of the Budgie and how they chirped, I thought he was interested in them since he has never saw a Budgie in his life till now. It's the funniest thing in the morning when he likes to show off that he can chirp louder than the budgies, whice is cute since he has copied the Budgie's warbles and challenges them at their own game. I caught him a bunch of times before doing this, but never on my camera so I can't post it. I'll try to remember when he does it again and catch it on camera. He also loves to be out with the Budgies, he likes to flirt and listen to them as well. For some odd reason he also preforms this little dance around the Budgies where he hops and sometimes accidentaly trips because of his big feet :D. I have caught him many times before, but never managed to catch it on my camera so I'll see if I can do that soon, since all of you guys might like it :). The Lutino Cockatiel is my cousin's her name is Kooky, Emerson tries to her attention but she ain't having it.

I love that name too, also because there is a band I love called "Emerson Drive"

My cousin's Lutino is not friendly with other birds, she also hisses if you touch her cage, and if a bird lands on her cage. But I think she is sweet especially when she get's used to me cause she let's me give her scritches.

You can hear in the first video when he stops singing, one of the Budgies in the background takes over the same type of chirping.

How do I get him to like other people, well mostly my parents he kinda hates them?:)

Cookie only really likes me and dad. If i have to do something the only person i can leave her with so she doesn't try to follow me is dad. I think they just pick and choose people they like and want in their flock. Maybe if your parents offer him treats that might change his attitude?

Well, finally while I was vaccuming I could hear Emerson singing away and I decided to run for the camera to catch him in the act. I actually caught three miniclips, one of them came out horizantly how dumb of me that I didn't realize,:o the second he wasn't singing that much and the third is of him doing his little hopping around. Hope you all enjoy them.:)
