Can you tame a 5 year old bird?

:):) my cousin is offering me two 5 year old budgies. I probably wont take them, they are old and not tame yet. So is it possible to tame a 5 year old bird? Would it be easier than a new one?

As there are 2 of them i'd say they're bonded and will be difficult to tame (though not impossible). It would take a lot of hard work and perseverance on your part though.

It is possible, it just will take more time and work.

It is most unlikely they could be tamed at this age. Even if you only took one. One possibility is to take both and, if they are in good health, breed them..... Then you could finger tame the babies from the beginning. :-)
