hey guys. i'm a little concerned about my budgie's behavior over the past two days. she about 5 years or more and has been in great health since the day i found her in a stairwell in my apartment building. she has been looking rather fluffy and sleepy-ish since she does that closing of the eyes kind of thing birds usually do. she's been rather quiet as well. i noticed this morning that her ***** were the normal green and white color except it looks like they're a little moist but still solid. surrounding the pieces of poop is a dried out light green stain. at first i thought she didn't eat but just a few moments ago i saw her eat and drink, so maybe i figured she has a little digestive problem or perhaps i'm being to worrisome? it's just that she would usually chirp more, especially when she and her companion are out by the fire escape, and she's fluffier than usual. either way i was thinking about buying some gravel later in case she does in fact have a minor digestive problem.
does anybody have any advice/suggestions/explanations?
i would very much appreciate it!

humm , generally a fluffed up bird means a sick bird. If you feel she is sick trust your instinks and bring her to the vet , an avian vet at that. for now until she sees the vet keep her in a warm place.

It does sound like she's ill :(
I'd take her to an avian vet because it does sound like something is wrong. Keep her warm because when budgies are fluffed up it means they are cold.. Keep her warm until the vet visit.. I hope she gets better soon!

I agree with both of the above posts.
A complete check-up by an avian vet is the best advice we can give you.
Good luck and I do hope she feels better soon.
