cola wasnt a budgie, she was a duckling. infact the best duckling ever.i will miss her heaps and heaps.

dear cola,
thankyou so very much for being so loving and trusting in the few days i owned you.i loved how after one day whenever i (and no one else) would come to your cage you would cheep a couple of times just to say hi.you were such a friendly duckling, and loved cuddles. i am sooo sorry. i am to blame of your short life, i should of been more considerate with keeping you warm, without your mummie and sisters\\brothers i needed to get another blanket or 2 for you.please wait for me up in heaven so when i come, i can give you the biggest and longest cuddle ever, and some yummy jelly meat.please forgive me, i loved you ever so much, and always will, even though we were attached to each other in the 3 days we had with each other.i will miss you so much and love you more than you know.again i am soooo sorry i am the worst mummy ever. have a good life up in heaven sorry your earth one wasnt longer.at least it was peacfully though aye???? love you so much cola. be a good duckie.i cry for you, and please remember me as i will you.love you and will miss you sooo much.
love mummie number 2.

I am very sorry about your sweet little duckling, "Cola." What a shock it must have been for you to lose her. Please don't blame yourself, though. Things happen - and you really did try to care for her.

She knows you loved her and that's what matters.

Thank you for sharing your loss with us. Telling others is the first step towards healing . . . And people on this forum, really DO care. :sad3:

Your story made me so sad sweety. I am sorry for your loss. Just know that you did the best you could to help little Cola; your intentions were pure of heart, but unfortunately, sometimes that is not enough. My thoughts are with you....;)
