Introducing myself

Hi all, you have probably seen a couple of my posts around and thought 'where has she come from?? :) ' So I thought I had better introduce myself properly! My name is Sherrie and I live in Ballarat, Victoria Australia, about 1 hour from Melbourne. I got my first budgie Bobby for Christmas and love him to bits. I am looking forward to hearing more about all of your budgies, getting advice and also helping out where I can.

Our budgie Tallis also regurgitates food on a regular basis. We spent a lot of money at the veterinarian having all kinds of tests run. The tests were all negative. The veterinarian determined that Tallis thinks he is feeding a partner in a love rela:budgie: tionship. He always does it with a toy. If we remove the toy, after he recovers from the loss of the toy, he will stop regurgitating the food. We feel bad about taking away the toy and we give him a different one. He has lots of toys but regurgitates on a favourite cat ball that he loves. It is the type of ball that is plastic with a little bell inside it. His favourite is a red and brown one. We leave it in his cage for him but if we take it outside the cage than he will bring seed up on.
I thought this info might be helpful for the person who was inquiring about this problem.
