Can you all offer me some help.Hubby would like to "surprise" me with a new cage.We have Birdie now but after the holidays we will be getting him a friend. So I will be needing a new cage for 2 budgies.I know I need a cage that's 40X20X32.Any sites that any of you have used and were happy with??Someone here got a new cage for her 2 budgies.Sorry I can't remember her name, but she has them in her room,a very neat room I might add.Amy help you can offer wil be greatly appreciated and this way hubby will get the links sent to his email and he won't screw up and get a nice size cage..Thanks all!:budge:

Hiii! This is just me, but I'd rather get cages from pet shops, ALWAYS! One, you can see it and inspect it the whole thing and so on and so forth. You have people that can explain things to you. But that's just me. Goodluck. Sorry, I don't know many sites try googling petshops around and look at their cages online.

They've got some very beautiful cages at Pet Smart, and very reasonabley priced too. I agree, I like to see them for myself before I buy.:)

Is there a reason you want a cage that specific size? Or does it just have to fit in that space. i would look around all the local pet shops as that's the easiest place to buy cages. Also put ads in the local paper or on the community notice board as maybe someone is selling their old cage. You can also check ebay but alot of the large cages are pick up only.

Anna, how quicklyou forget!!!!;) In New York, remember how chilly it's gettn here compared to CA??:p
I just thought it would be easier for hubby to have a link and order the cage.
But then again maybe Iwont make it so easy for him. After all I did get his tool thingie at Sears this week and I had to tip the guys to load it and then ask my neighbors for help to get it out of my truck andinto his garage so hubby will be surprised.
The measurements are what I saw under recommendations for a cage size for at least 2 budgies. Were they incorrect or something?
Thanks all!

I would suggest this cage for two budgies:
I bought it off ebay for $99.95 shipped...If you are looking for more in a cage like a play top then this isnt the cage for you but, If you want a large cage for two budgies with LOTS of room for toys and play then I LOVE this cage!!!
