View Full Version : Let's Work Together!
I hate asking members to do work, but lets start as many threads as we can for now. The first few weeks are always the slowest and we need a boost. So if you can think of any topics that would make good threads, post them! Don't be shy. We're all eager to talk about budgies, so please help us out and post anything you think of. The more posts we get, the more guests that will be willing to register to the site.
So lets get posting! :D
If you don't post new threads, you can still help by getting your friends and other budgie owners to register to the site! That's just as good. Your choice. :)

Yep! I agree though more threads will definitely attract more people. Especially since they can type a problem on Google and if we have covered that topic, this site will show up in their results so if we can try to cover most topics then we will get more people hitting us up with their own questions! :D

I wish it were that easy. Unfortunately we're far to new to appear in Google yet. Soon though... :) Right now, the best way to get members is word of mouth.

Oh, we are not on Google yet? I figured since I have seen so many Google spiders on this site that we would be. Oh well, soon enough!

Well if you search for "Talk Budgies" we'll be number one, but that's only because that's the name of our site. As a matter of fact, we're actually sort of high up on a search for "budgie forum", which is a much stronger search. Heh, I guess we'll be moving up higher than I thought. I assumed it would take much longer because my other site still isn't #1 when you search its name (Talk Camp).

I need some help in how to use this site. I would like to talk to someone who clips budgies nails. I have 2 males, ozzie, who thinks he is a crow, and joey a yellow albino? How do I contact you? Chris N, Cranbrook British Columbia
Hey Chris. If you want to get some answers, start a new thread in our Budgie Talk forum by clicking here (http://www.talkbudgies.com/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=5). Ask your question by doing that and we'll do our best to help you. :)
EDIT: Be sure to check out the FAQ (http://www.talkbudgies.com/faq.php?faq=vb_faq) as well.

hi i found you trough google so thumbs up:budgie:
I'm glad we're making it up the ranks on Google! :D
Luthien16, if you don't mind me asking, what did you search for on Google to find us? I want to get an idea of what keywords we're stronger with.
I found the site on google too! Maybe you could add the site to http://utop.aviary.info/index.php as heaps of people from other forums would find us on that. I personally found this site through google when i was searching for yet another budgie forum to post on.:p I could see if i can put a link to this forum on a couple of the other forums i go on if you like.:)
Just make sure they allow links to other sites in signatures. I don't want us to get in trouble.
By the way, thanks for that link. I added our site.

So did I!
I'd like there to be a bit on choosing a budgie and looking after your budgie, for people who are new to the budgie world.(Not me though!) :budgie:
