View Full Version : Scheduled Downtime On June 17

The time has come everyone. We will be transferring to our new host tomorrow. To keep our old server and new server in sync, I will have to close the forum during the transfer. This downtime will be anywhere from less than an hour to several hours. This all depends on how long the transfer will take. In addition, several much-needed backups will be performed during this time.

I might also upgrade the forum software during this downtime as well so I don't have to close the forums again in a couple days. When we reopen, I will let everyone know if there will be more downtime or not.

An important notice: when we transfer, it will take time for everyone's computers to update and recognize the change. Don't be alarmed if the site appears to go offline completely for you. This will be resolved in time. If you have continuing problems after 24 hours, send me an e-mail at webmaster@talkbudgies.com.

No, you don't have to. You won't be able to do anything though if you stay logged in.

Glad to have you back then! :D I've been on since early this morning, thats strange how it lets everybody on at different times. Oh well, glad your back. :)

I was gone so I didn't miss anything other then we made the needed donations! Awesome! Looking forward to exploring the site and seeing what is new!
