The list of member titles/ranks is as follows:
# of Posts: Title
0-9 Posts: Newbie
10-29 Posts: Egg
30-49 Posts: Hatchling
50-99 Posts: Baby Budgie
100-249 Posts: Young Budgie
250-499 Posts: Budgie
500-999 Posts: Older Budgie
1000+ Posts: Senior Budgie
Note: this list IS outdated.
I think older budgie and senior budgie need more glamourous names!;) How about Experienced Budgie and Super Budgie?
I like super budgie. That's a good one. I'll add that in somewhere. :D

How about fledgling?
I'm thinking about increasing the ranks a lot. I've looked at other websites (not necessarily budgie websites) and most of them have the ranks really spaced out. I might do that.

The titles and ranks don't update immediately. They only update once an hour at :25 (2:25, 3:25, etc.).

I have also noticed that having more members affects the amount of time people spend on here, adding more posts and getting more info. With all the members posting questions, pictures, answers ect, we are all spending time reading and replying, this is going to be a huge site someday, if it isn't already! I can feel it!

Me too. This site has grown faster than I ever thought it would, and that's a good thing! :D
How's your other site going by the way? Are we ahead of it?
We're way past it. But that's because that site is dead during the summer because most of the members are away at overnight camp. So there's virtually no posting going on right now.

I just noticed that my posts are past 50 and I am still at the EGG stage. Does the stage have to be changed by you or is it suppose to happen automatically? Just curious? :S

the ranks are updated automatically. the listed ranks at the beginning of this thread are not accurate anymore. dave has upped the post count for each rank cause it was too easy. you'll have to wait a bit more :)

Reading the last several posts, it does seem that Dave wants the Titles and Ranks to be kept private. Sometimes, members will bump threads or create unnecessary threads and post, just to increase their count and reach the next level.
Plus, you will get a suprise when you hit the next level. ;)
If Dave does want the Titles and Ranks to be corrected, I will gladly update.

1-50.newbie
50-200.egg
200-500.hatchling
500-1000.young budgie
1000-2000.budgie
2000-5000. senior budgie
5000-7000.Super budgie
7000+ Bionic Bird
Also i think custom titles should be used at 1500 posts........ oh and i hope none off you take ooffense in my suggestion

Page 1 ranks are out dated, don't go by them :)
