Leaving your budgies alone

Do you leave your budgies alone a lot? What do you do for them while you're gone?

Our budgies are alone every weekday from about 7:30 to 2:30. They've gotten used to it though. Usually I'll turn on the radio for them, or I'll play their bird CD. It's a half-hour long of just birds chirping. I put it on repeat and it plays over and over. They love it.

Kiki is not alone very often but when she is I do not really do much but sometimes I will leave my laptop down in the room that she is in and put my music on. Since I am a college student with no job and I live with another college student our schedules are not the same so there is usually somebody home all day.

Well Blinkie is alone during the week for varying amounts of time each day. On weekends usually someones home but during the week when i'm at school i give him his beloved mirror to play with and also sometimes leave the tv or some music on for him.:)
