Hi. I just found this forum and it seems very interesting. You can view my profile if you care to, to find out my interests. Currently I have 22 birds, 2 are Budgies. Both are a lovley chartreuse color. They are about 2 yrs. old, both male. We first got one for my grandaughter and she named it Peakey! I got the second one and named him Rickey. I've had Budgies in the past and have bred many. I find them to be darling little birds. I love to watch them play with their many toys and with each other. They never seem to squabble. I have them in the same cage. I plan to buy 2 more blue ones. I want males again and they will have their own cage. I have 11 cockatiels also, 7 finches, 1 canary and a Goffins Cockatoo. I am a lover of all animals.

Thanks for the welcome. Yes, I've had years of experience but a person can always learn something new from others. I have my hands full with all of these pets, but I don't think I'd know what to do without them. Most of my birds are pretty old. I have a 14 yr. old Green Singing Finch and most of the cockatiels are up in their teens. I use to breed the cockatiels and found it was hard for me to part with handfed babies, so no more breeding. Same with the Budgies. That's why I only want males from now on. They seem to be pretty compatible with one another too. I'm sure I'll enjoy this forum because a lot is offered on different topics.:budgie:

Good idea, 2 males together are the best combination!
