Easter Lilies & Budgies

I got an Easter Lily and it's in the same room as my budgie and I heard that they are poisonous to budgies. It isn't to close to my budgie, Kiwi's cage but the smell is super strong and she can smell it and is this bad? Should I remove the plant from my room?

Well, from what I just read on the internet, Easter Lilies are poisonous to cats, but not sure about budgies. For cats, if they ingest it, even a small amount, they can become lethargic and lose their appetite. So according to that, I'm guessing that if budgies ingest it, then it would be poison. If you are worried, you can remove the Easter Lilies, away form the budgies:)

Thanks! They are poisonous to budgies if they ingest it but I'm not sure if they smell it...
