Hi everyone here at Talk Budgies. My name is John. And as Dave eluded to, Ill be taking over as admin here at Talk Budgies.

Over the next couple days I'll be letting you all in on the changes I have in store for this site. They won't be put in effect then, I'll just be letting you know what to expect. I will be doing an announcement per day most likely.

Hello John. I have to say I just got this news and I'm really too upset to comment right now, but I do hope you PLEASE keep the members in mind when making your changes. Maybe ask them for their input before making any radical changes. Be gentle.

If you plan to keep the same staff( and if we plan to stay after hearing of your changes) then I want you to know that even though I'm very upset I will continue to do the best job here that I can. It's just going to take some time...:(

Oh and I do hope you plan on keeping this a family friendly site....

hello John...im Bug..the only insect around here thats from Dubai.. i dont know you..but i know TB.. and the members here that love it the way it is... and though change will be hard for some of us.. i hope it will lead to something good.. and that you.. as the new owner.. are as good as the last.. who considred our thoughts and did what he could to keep us happy as a community.. sorry if most of the replies seema bit hostile.. we are all taking this a bit hard as it was kinda thrown at us..

Everyone, I'm sorry for bring this about so suddenly. Let John do his thing though. He'll do a great job. There are a lot of good things he'll be bringing to TB. And when he's done, who knows, maybe I'll come back. Just take it all one day at a time. :)

Welcome. I know change can be tough, as long as it isn't too much too soon it will be good. BTW, I get very mad every time they change facebook. Just when I get used to the new one they change it. PLEASE don't do this.
