How do you prepare your budgie's veggies?

I normally just make them smaller and put them on smaller plate. My mom has a bunch of lovely tea/coffe cups with a blue-ish design on them since they are white. I don't know if anyone knows what I'm talking about but you know the small plates that you place the cups on? I use on of those for my budgie's veggies..

But anyway, what I was meaning to ask is, how do you guys get your budgies' veggies ready? I have only given Skye veggies, what else can you feed them and how do you get them ready? Can you heat up the carrots so they're really soft and all the budgie has to do is swallow? Anyway- just help me out, I want my budgie to have the best :D

My budgies are pretty picky about how their veggiesare prepared.

The both like their peas, beans and corn tender so I thaw them after freezing. They like the leafy veggies such as watercress just rinsed and given.
Shiloh prefers his carrots to be steamed or mashed, I figure his little beak is not strong enough to break through the thickness of the carrot.
Grace likes his veggies mashed, no idea why.

What I would do is steam, mash, freeze and thaw each veggie (just small amounts at first) and offer it to Skye and he will pick which preparation he likes :)

I mash everything. My budgies don't pay attention to anything bigger than it! (besides brocoli) My budgies like hard boiled eggs more than veggies but they will get it

I put it covering their food so they have no other choice but to eat it before they get to the seed.

We mash it all together after being warmed up. We use a combination of the following. Basic mix of either eggs, rice or sweet potato, and add carrots, peas, corn and broccoli.

My budgies love broccoli and carrot. For the broccoli, it is cooked and then served cooled in small pieces. For the carrot, we just grate it finely and give it to them raw. They love it! ;)

I give my budgies veggies in different ways. Sometimes i just wash and then give them a bit and other times i cook it and mash. :)
