I am soooooo excited!! I've been emailing this cockatiel breeder over the past few days and today i found out she'll have a yellowface pied cockatiel, handreared, and ready for a new home in 3-4 weeks!!!:D Dad says we can put a deposit on it!!! We will do that this weekend hopefully!

That is really great my boyfriend used to have a cockatil and I have always wanted one.

I might try contacting a breeder for a cockatil after the new year. But I have already contacted a breeder for a new budgie and I'm worried that my boyfriend is going to get anoyed with me having so many birds.

I'm not sure about gender. :) I don't mind either way!

I'll talk to mum when dad's ready to back me up - whenever that is. Anyway, i think she'll be more inclined to say yes after we've put a deposit on it. Before she would've just been "no" out of habit. I think she should realise that out of all my birds Cookie has had 0 effect on her. So i think it'll work out good in the end!
