Remote control budgies!

I'm watching TV and they're chirping like mad, I mute the sound, they stop, I turn it back up, they start singing again!

Ewww! Bea!! You should use a tissue not a budgie!!

Dave, it's quite easy, Just turn on the TV then wait for them to chirp(nature programs are good.) And then mute it and they will stop!

I have a budgie who loves to be part of a conversation, people will be talking and he will chirp. chirp. natter away. then when the people stop talking he does. but only with people, not the T.V.

:S My budgie is called Ozzy and i had one called Kurt (after Kurt cobain and ozzy osbourne) and they headbang to my music especially nirvana. Ozzy is doing it now :S They sing to acoustic music too and if its a song they dont like, they will make more niose than the CD player or computer.
I also have a parrot that mimics my phone when it goes off... this is rare though :(

my budgies arent so interested in the tv but love my music! especially nofx + less than jake! they make loads of noise when i'm on the phone too! if the person i'm talking to is in the room they dont mind but as soon as i tlk on the phone they go mental!!

Cool! Like mine! Like beanshoes, my budgies don't pay any attention to the t.v but they LOVE music, espcially rock!

mine are remote controle budgies too, as far as I can tell its pretty normal. any noise in any way and they want to be able to participate in it hahaha :) in fact when i worked in pet stores, when people said that their birds are too noisy, I often find that they are the types of people who leave the tv on in the back ground all day long, so i suggest if you want a break, turn off the tv and shortly aftre they will settle down. people have been very greatful to learn this :) silence can be golden somtimes, expecially in a bird house lol

its amazing! its a comedy set in a hospital, the most random thing u've ever seen! i think they like the music or they might just be laughing at me laughing!! its on channel 4 now!!
