Kiwi died this morning :(. I put two socks over him to keep him warm last night. I didn't think he would die today. I am so mad at myself. I don't know why!!!!! I am going to bury him outside today. I don't want to though. I want to keep him with me forever. My other birds don't even know kiwi died. I truly do not know what to do now. My dad let me stayed home, and you guys are the third to know what happend to kiwi. There are many things I question in my head how she died, i dont know what are true or not.

and this morning he looked at me with his head tilted. Stupid enough of me I thought he was okay. :mad: That was the last time he looked at me.

I'm very sorry JPKP about the loss of your special Budgie Kiwi. Was this a total surprise or had he been sick? Either way, it is not going to be any easier to accept. :( I wish there was something I could do to ease your pain but there isn't. We are all going to have to face "death" sometime, and it will never be easy for any of us.

Just know that we are thinking of you and we care.

Well Donna, a couple days maybe about 4 days before Kiwi started to let me get closer to him. As in my finger going and petting him. I thought he was just trusting me. I guess not :(. It was a suprise to me, a sad one. Thanks for the words donna.

I know you loved your Budgie very much and I'm sure he knew it too. :)

Just hang on to the fact that you loved him and did your best to care for him. His death was totally out of your hands and there is no way you could have avoided it.

Try and think on the great memories of Kiwi, and hopefully each day will bring comfort and healing to your heart.
