new cage, how many budgies..?

I'm getting a new cage for my budgie "Petey", this is the exact cage I am getting

how many can be housed there without over crowding?

I wouldn't put more than 4 - 5 in there. :) Providing they get lots of time out for flying.

Thats wonderful as my intention was getting an additional 2 budgies some time this year ;)
Petey came with a mate when I got him a few years back,sadly she died :(
& I think the sweetheart would love more friends <3

Don't forget to quarantine any new birds in a separate cage and room for 30 days before introdrucing them to Petey. :) This stops spread of diseases.

I definately will,I'm keeping my old cages for that purpose, better safe than sorry ;)

I like that cage and I would say 4 budgies, after toys etc as they take up room xx

to be honest i would say 6. I have a cage somewhat like that and i have 3 in there. if your only going to hold maybe 3 budgies it a waste of a cage. Not all the room will get used and if you like me the budgies are let out when ever possible its a total waste. All 3 can get flight in the cage and even after you toy it up there's a lot of extra room. I was thinking of buying that cage but ally wanted cage that cost more. Best of luck tho. it would be fine for 3-6 budgies in my opinion.

i would say 4, with all the toys added, they would have enough room to fly. 6 in my opinion is too many.

I think that too, because you need a few toys if you have six budgies in a cage and that would take up a lot of room xx

I'd 3 - 4. It looks empty now, but with all those toys, feed bowls, water bowls, and perches in there, its not gonna look so empty! :D

Thanks everyone! 4 maximum it will be ;) (sweet I can get 3 additional budgies :P )& yup,I let my budgie out of his cage lots...none of my pets are stuck in cages all day :)
And my budgie Petey has a fasination with rings, everything has to be bird rings for him...with a cage that size,much more toys for him & his new friends :D & I just like larger cages in general...even if they are rarely going to be in there :D

My parents are getting me a new cage for x-mas, im thinking something that size maybe a little bit smaller.
