I'm going to sell mine for £10-£12 GB,t $17.38-$20.85, €14.33-€17.20 Europe, $24.27-$29.12 AU.

If you were to tame them before selling (not too hard, just handle them lots) then you could probably charge the higher price saying that they were handled from chicks. I haven't been able to part with any of my babie's and don't think i could so i've just stopped breeding them. :p

There are so many variables here. My prices are determined by type of budgie (English vs. American), type (normal, fallow, albino, lutino, spangle, etc.) and color. English command anywhere from USD 50.00 to 100.00. Americans bring $15.00 to $20.00.

Plus, it depends on whether I'm selling a lot to a pet store for resale or selling only one to an individual. Normally, I try to exhaust the individual sales first and, then, simply round up the unsold ones for my favorite pet store. All are banded and hand/finger trained, of course.

The rare colors bring higher prices. Violets are especially in demand.

Mine are going to be yellow and white faced blues. And they're going to be handled from chicks, and they're... I don't know! Are Billy and Lily English or American? I live in England so could they be English?

I might breed a baby with another shop bought budgie.

They're american (or pet) budgies. English budgies are the large show type ones.

my show budgies go for between £20 and £150 depending on which line they are from top range birds from top breeders can go for £1000's the most i heard was £7500 if you are starting of with show birds start from a novice breeder at between £20 to £50 if you are lucky first time buyers sometimes get good deals

Really?! Lily is a female albino budgie, but I'm never giving her away! I'm going to sell my babies for £20 each and £35 for a pair. Does this sound good?

But my plan is....

Keep 2 females and 1 male (or 1 female and 2 males or 3 males.) Keep one extra tame and talk, ect. And keep the other 2 in separate cages, buy 2 of the opposite sex, and breed them when they're old enough.

How does that sound?

No they werent tame,but they were fairly young they had been weaned tho. im sure if id only got 1 it would have been rearly tame by now because they are very young,but i got 2 because i knew i would add to them.
do you know / have a pets at home near you ? they sell budgies for £14 each & most of them are old enough to sex rearly easily !! they dont often have babies.

In CANADA they sell for $15-20 CAD for pets and $40-50 CAD for exihibition stock.
