Well, today I got Misty to sit on my shoulder! Hooray! Except the way I did it was, I gently grabbed her off the top of her cage, and I was holding her, petting her on the head, and feeding her millet. All the sudden she just started wiggling like crazy (I would too, I guess), so I set her on my shoulder.
To my surprise, she stayed! Who would have thought? I expected her to fly straight to her cage, and scream at me. But she just sat there, being all cute. Then, was that a beak grinding? Yay! :D Then I slowly set some millet on my shoulder, and she made a HUGE mess eating it!
Then my little sister had to ruin the fun by walking in and asking me to let her hold Misty. Well I wasn't about to ruin the moment, so I told her she might some other time. Then she made the exact same excuse I make when she won't help me clean the cage, "She's half mine and half yours!!!!!"
Anyway, Misty got tired of the millet and our sister argument, so she went back to her cage. Woah, this is getting long; I should stop. :o
I just hope Misty will do it again.
