Mimics

I have a little fella named Gus who is about 2 months as some of you may know. He is very tame and i am trying to teach him to speak. He already copies our clicking and kissing noises but no words yet. When i used to live with my parents we had a budgie named Basil, he was a riot. he used to pretend to blow his nose when we did, he would laugh, call the cat "Here timmy, puss, puss, puss, Where's timmy?". that's just to name a few. He was such a character.

I thought it would be interesting to hear about some of your birds funny and favourite mimics and phrases.

I had a Budgie called Bobby and he could say 'hello' and 'yes'.

I once took him to school when I was younger. When the teacher took the register, she added his name, said it and he said 'Hello','yes',! Everybody laughed! He was such a sweet bird, sadly he flew away last year. (So did Dusty and Misty.)
So I'm going to clip Billy and Lily's wings for sure.

Blinkie can say "Kissy Kissy Kiss" (often when talking to my dog, Mickey). He can also mimic several sounds: kissing, dripping tap, my laugh, ....farts. :p Both my parents also claim he can say Budgie but i've never heard that.

I've always wanted to take my budgies to school!!!! But they were never tame enough :( .
