:( Yesterday morning I woke up at 7:00 to find my budgie sunshine dead laying at the bottom of the cage she had become eggbound again poor thing.......:( :mad:

Are you going to get another budgie in her place?
I bet no other budgie could replace her.

Yea I got a new one today but he is violet and blue pied and a boy so nothing close I wont be breeding for a while now I have 2 males.

Sorry to hear the bad news. Losing one is hard, I know. Even with a lot of them, it is sad to lose even one. I lost a beautiful Cobalt English male last week. Old age. Still sad. Enjoy your new violet. That is my favorite color. I have one BIG violet English male now and am looking forward to his producing some good chicks.

Im so sorry about your loss. You seemed so excited for chicks.
I hope your new budgie is just as wonderful.

I wouldnt consider him a replacement cuz that sounds so unwanted. Call him a new addition :)

I am so sorry to hear about your little Sunshine. She had it a bit rough at the end, not being able to fly and becoming egg bound. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time. :( Chin up Jonathan! :)

On a much brighter note, congratulations on your new budgie. We can't wait to see pictures of him. :p
