as most you, I went looking for a seond budgie LOL.......they are addictive indeed.....haha.........but letīs put that a bit aside for now........

tha thing is I saw a beautiful dominant pied female.......but when comparing sizes (in my mind) she was way bigger than Pablo (male budgie) so I deducted she was an English budgie........

can English budgies and "normal" budgies breed?? (not that I plan to get her but the question bugged my mind)

if so, what would be the outcome? medium sized budgies or half and half??

Yes they can breed, but I wouldn't do it. Babies are usually small and do not live as long as pure breeds. I would say don't do it, even though it is possible. :)

I have a cross and its turning 3 next month! I got an ENGLISH TODAY IM SO EXCITED!!!!A CINNAMIN GREY FEMALE! They are for sure beautiful! Some have shorter life spans because they are inbred its better to buy them from a breeder. Its even better if you cross it will live longer actually than a english (some english) but I would do it there is no reason you shouldn't unless you want to show your birds...definately would not be the show standard for english. I am breeding my english to my half english budgie, the breeder told me it would take 7 generations of babies pure to pure english to make it show qaulity and yes, if you cross and english with a normal they will be of medium size. My blue is of medium size.
