I was supposed to get another parakeet today but instead, I'm getting 2 tiels! (not today.....:( ) I'm so excited and it's for a cheap price compared to what you can get at the store (I'm getting it from a friend that lives up the street!) Wow! I might need some help though, because even though they said they were tame, I want it to warm up to me!

Gosh I can't believe it!

right if you are getting 2 tiels you will need some leather gloves because even though they are tame they will still probably bite you and bite you HARD!!!!so if you would like them to warm to you quick let them settle in for a few hours then go sit by the cage and talk to them softly for a while.do that for a few days.once youve done that i will post again.ok thanks.

Yeah I use to own a quaker parakeet. Nasty little thing. If you didn't wear gloves you'd lose a finger! Thanks for the help and thanks all of you for your posts!
