BUBU likes to Burrow...

my budgie BuBu whenever he's out of the cage and around my hair or on the comfy blankets... he seems to like to use his feet to like move things around as if hes trying to make a lil nook or something...

do budgies burrow?? i donno if im making any sense... he is a boy so i dont think hes trying to make a nest... but ummm maybe he thinks its fun to dig with his feet? :budgie:

I attended a Companion Parrot Workshops and the guy giving it specifically mentioned that Cockatoos love to dig. If at all possible, you should provide a Cockatoo with a pit full of forage to dig through.

He didn't mention budgies in the workshop, but perhaps they are the same. They come from the same continent afterall. :)

Why don't you try giving BuBu one of those cozy hut things in the cage. Maybe he's just looking a safe quiet place to hang out.
