Im not loosing another budgie :sad3:
Sounds like a good plan and I hope he's a healthy little fellow soon.

It could be that while he was caged in with the other birds, he was sort of feather plucked by the others in his vent area; or he was plucking poops that got stuck there and as a result ended up plucking out some of the downy feathers thus revealing his bum.
It is hard to tell what, if anything, is going on from the second picture as it is a little blurry.
Remember that he is new to your home and that stress can make them fluff up like that. Wasn't he just checked by a vet? Do you know what the vet did? (Any fecal or blood tests?) If you don't know, it would be good to find out. If all they did was a physical exam (like palpating him and listening to his breathing and heart), then they are missing a whole other part of a complete health exam.

Well
I guess I was just too worried
His poops are more formed now
and he was eating.... A LOT
So i think he is feeling better
Its kind of wierd though how he sleeps...
He doesnt put his head back
he rests it on the bars of the cage lol
:love2:
Aww that's sweet! I hope he is feeling better.
Hopefully he's feeling fine. :D If not, that pet store has something majorly wrong with it. :(
Yes if all of there budgies are like that then report it to the RSPCA or some other animal charity.
