Okay...
Ever since (haha idk what sence to use...) I got Bobby....
He has had reccouring incedents of loose feathers...
Is that because he is moulting or what???
These are like.. tail feathers and wing feathers.
They eventually fall out, but they are bloody.
He hasnt ran into anything and I am not sure why this is...
So yea

Well...
He does pick at them when they are loose...
but other then that...
He is a very picky budgie.
He is always preening himself...
and he hates it when a feather is loose or out of place...
Idk...
My budgie has OCD i guess
He also hates his little ankle bracelet thingy...
Have you ever had problems with that???
Hehe Im starting to think I should have named him Monkey or something...
He loves to climb up and down the bars on the outside of his cage
and Up and down my lamp cord, and scarfs, and stuff..
Hehehe :p

well thats good that he is not pulling them out for no reason and it is good that he is preening that shows you have a healthy budgie. with the ankle bracelet i never had a budgie with a bracelet but i dont think that should be a problem unless he is hurting himself when he preens himself he probablly cleans his feet and gets a hold of the bracelette! when he goes after it does he hurt himself? i am assuming no orelse you would have said it?

Well...
Its not when he is preening
He will be climbing and notice it...
and start trying to pry it off
he hasnt hurt himself...
but IDK
should i find a way to remove it do you think?

ok:budgie:
You should ask someone who has had experience of removing 'bracelets' (removing@bracelets')
to do it for you. Those 'bracelets' are called ?-rings, I've sort of forgotten!

Most budgies do not enjoy having loose or out of place feathers. They will pull at them to try to fix them. You don't need to be concerned unless your budgie is feather plucking (pulling out a bunch of feathers and developing bald spots) or if there is a fair amount of blood in the shaft in which case you would need to control the bleeding. :)
Yes, Budgiekin very useful info!
