My last budgie died.

:( I've only been here for like less then a week and he died, now I have no more budgies. :( It was old age but... I'm going to bury him and have a funeral tonight. :(

Yeah, I really want to get another though, becuase I had that one for 5 years... And the other died in one year :(

I am so sorry about the loss of your only remaining Budgie. It has to be hard losing him and then losing your other one, only a short time ago, also.

I am dreading the day that mine are no longer with me. Hopefully, that will be a long time to come, since I have not had mine long. They really become a part of our lives, don't they?

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I know what it is like....I still get very sad when I think about my sweet little Apollo.

Have you been eyeing any budgies in your area that you may be interested in? I hope you get another one....;)

Luckily I have two cages whic I shall combine to make budgie-paradise!!

That is, when I get another budgie...

By the way, I took a picture of her the day before she died. So luckily you can all see her.

She wasn't looking too good though... :(

EDIT:

I gave her a funeral, me and my best friend went to a river and we placed her in, alog with some berries for the afterlife.... or something, :o My other friend thought I was crazy, he hates animals. :(

Yeah, I have had some people think I was crazy too because when I lost my first parakeet, I insisted that we had to at least wrap him up before we buried him. I wanted him to be buried with dignity. When I lost the last one I thought maybe I wouldn't get another because of how much I loved Peter Pan....I now have Brighty, and he's just as loved as Peter was. I'm so sorry about the loss of your pet. I wish you all the luck in finding a wonderful new friend.
