does anyone see tweety as a male or female because when i got her the pet store told me she was a female anyone see a male??

Tweety sure looks healthy in those pictures! Here feathers are vibrant, her cere is clean, she looks quite perky. When were those taken? Before she got sick? :S

no those were taken today :S but she isnt that active and when i hold her on my finger i feel her bone but she does eat and poop so i no there is no eating disorder she is usually fluffed up her head is always leaned forward u think there is any antibiotic for birds that i can give her??

An antibiotic would only be helpful if she has a bacterial infection. It would do nothing to treat a fungal or viral infection. Without diagnosing her, it isn't a good idea to administer any medications. They may do more harm than good.

If you are concerned that she is skinny, have you tried feeding her millet? Does she still eat?

ya she eats millet like crazy she loves it she also eats normal food i just stuck celery in the cage and she started eating it until holly pecks at her :mad: i do feel bad for her but now that i have been letting her out of her cage she looks like she is getting better i dont no how to explain it?? you think this just might be her character??

But I was just thinking about how you said Holly pecks at her...

Maybe there is more bullying going on inside of the cage
and you dont realize it...
so she feels safer outside of the cage with you???


Any thoughts on this from the more expierenced ones?

well i noticed that when she is with me she isnt as still or anything and when they are out of the cage with her she is a whole different character i will be separating them i am getting a new cage just for her that if i see she is healthy i will also try to breed her with a lutino male!

I'm glad to hear that you think she is getting better! It sounds like a good idea to separate her and put her in a different cage for a while to see how she does when she has a cage to herself. Let us know how she does!! And feel free to post more pictures!! :p
