ive had Stormy for about 3 weeks now?...im not sure, actually. im a bad mom.

i think the only reason he stepped onto my finger after his "incident" and the following bath that was needed was because he was in shock :) sine he's dried off he's went back to flipping out as usual when i open his cage and invade his space.

so since he basically wont let me near him...so ive just been putting my hands into the cage daily to rearrange his toys or perchs...and feeding, i hope he'll get used to me that way. i guess its gonna take months, again, Jeri took me about 5-6 months to train. he was just as scared of me too....err.

one weird, and annoying thing Stormy does is DIG. he's got quite a chicken scratch problem. he digs all of the seeds out of his dish and onto the floor where he also enjoys digging and flinging seeds all over. :) awesome. i lost the floor for his cage, the bars that keep it separate from the tray, its just a temporary cage. alright this is getting long! so ive had MINIMAL progress...and ill have pictures soon!!! Christmas is only 2 months away :)

Great suggestion Buuzbee! Those feeders would help prevent such large messes for sure! :p

Amy86, Some of the best relationships get off to a rocky start. I'm sure you are on the right path now. Just take it nice and easy. Try giving Stormy some treats from your hand.
