Progress check

Here is the most recent picture of my two chicks. I am wondering if at 5 and 7 days the size difference is okay. When do they become roughly the same size?

That is ok because the bigger one had 48 hours to grow without it's egg.

Can't really say when ALL of your chicks are going to be the same size...are there any other fertile eggs?

If not then once they get a little older the smaller one will grow faster than the bigger one and will soon catch up to his size.

Thanks, just wanted to check on that. If there are no further hatchings by thursday then I would say these two are the lot. That would be fine because there would be no problem keeping them. :)

The smaller ones always seem to grow the slowest - i think because the older ones demand more of the food. But budgies are good parents so all the babies will get there in the end.
