Cute! Mine stuffs her cheeks like that too. Sometimes so much she can't fit in her tube!

Be careful with the tubes. i had a hamster when i was in high school about 15 years ago and had the play hut with the tubes. She love it. well on day I came home from school to find her squished between the tube and the cage, I know she was a little chubby but that should never happen. Just be careful with the tubes. I would hate to see anyone lose their hamster the way i did.

I don't have a tube cage. All I have is a large cardboard "chube" for her to run through and chew on and it's not attached to anything. Those tube style cages like the Crittertrails scare me. The tubes look much too narrow for a syrian hamster and it just looks like a death trap to me. Any tube that goes in my cage has to be big enough for her to turn around in.

Thanks , the thought of those plastic cages with the tubes in them scare me. I will never forget how my hamster baby died. even though it was 15 years ago I still feel responsible for her death. When i see those cages with the tubes in them in the pet store it make me cringe. they should be taken off the market. they are not safe.
