Help with toy!!!

I need to make some toys but i have no way to get any kind of string until like next week. I have wooden clothes pins, straws, popsicle sticks, foam pads, poker chips, ramndom little things like spools and different rings and stuff so does any one have ANY idea of what to do with thes items?

I also have just made a bird tree but i need to make some more perches does anyone have any ides to help with that???:budgie:
