i was eating my toast this morning and i put a crust in the budgies cage and they loved it they couldnt eat it quick enough lol they wasnt hungry as they have food millet honey sticks and bells fruit etc i think they just really enjoyed it mabye you lot could try your budgies with a bit if its not harmfull, bea do you no?

(I know I'm not bea but....) I think it's ok as if it's not drowned in butter....If it's just bread then it's fine for budgies

White breads not the best thing for them too eat (same as for us :P) but a little nibble every now and then won't hurt them at all. A little bit of honey won't hurt them either but again it should be kept to a treat. Wholemeal or wholegrain bread is better for them.

thats good to no it was white bread but we do eat brown bread to, so ill try them with that next time and ill put a little honey on instead of butter i dont want to make them fat lol

and for us too! :D and dont just get the brown "wheat" bread, look at the ingredients. look to make sure is 100% whole wheat flour, not bleached at all!

its a great treat for them, but yes, try to give them a piece thats got no butter :)
