Yay my budgie baby is starting to get her first molt! That means she's getting 1 step closer to be all grown up :D I can see her pin feathers poking out of her head! she looks like a mess! Luckily chico's keeping her ichynesss to a minimum. Wow I've been waiting for this ever since I got her!

LOL!! I was the same with Ozzie, his innocent baby cuteness annoyed me for some reason. :P

I love it when my budgies get their first molt! It's very exciting and I always record it as if it was a baby!

I get excited to see if their colour deepens or changes slightly. Ozzie went from a pale bluey green to what often looks visually green. He's actually a goldenface which is like yellow face type 2 blue but more yellow - the highest level of yellowface.

Chico is the darker blue dominent pyed (i labled the names by they're colors)

I see how you've might have thought I was taking about chico...I said baby, but a lot of people could get mixed up by that, and I meant chico's keeping babies ichiness down becasue he's preening her:D

I totally agree with you on the moulting issue and how our Budgies look "A Mess." :D When my Budgies first moulted I was so worried and thought they were ill. The looked so rough and messed up! (Tee Hee)

Now I know what to expect. We may have "Bad Hair Days" but Budgies have "Bad Feather Days." :whois:

ur bird is molting? o yea u told me that!!! lol...but you didnt say which one....u said on the phone my birdie is molting...
