Well unfortunately we must get rid of our little silky bantam rooster.:( He has decided not to be a nice bird. He has started to pluck the back of everyone's heads. Plus he's just not nice. He attacks anyone who goes into the pen including my kids. So he has a day to find a new home.:( My DH was wanting to do you know what with him but there's no way I could do that. So cross your figures that he'll be able to find a good home. I'm kinda bummed since he was one of my first chickens(well all of them are) to ever have.

Our other 2 roosters are fine. Well I think our other little bantam has maybe plucked the back of Polish's head but not for sure. But my DH saw Silky plucking at one of our hens heads last night and now they are all getting little bald spots including the normal Bantam Rooster.:(

That's too bad!:( I hope you find a good new home for Silky. I think we have decided not to get any roosters as I remember the ones we had when i was a kid attacking me and other people.

Well so far we haven't heard anything.:( The reason we have 3 roosters is because we got 3 straight run chicks and they all ended up being roosters. but that was the only way to get Bantams and Polish Crested. But come spring you better believe we're only going to buy pullets.
