Hi I'm Georgia
I don't have my budgies yet, but will be getting them in a few weeks. Just waiting for the weather to warm up some before I pick them up. Wouldn't want them to get a cold!:(
I am adopting 2 budgies, both are supposed to be females, one is 1 year old and the other is under a year old.
I do have other birds, 2 red factor canaries, one female (Scubie) one male (Dewy)
and one parrotlet (Jack) or as my husband calls him physco bird!!
I'm so excited about adding to my bird family!!!!!:D

Hi, Georgia. Welcome to the site. Just wait till you get some budgies. They are such fun birds to have. I have about 30 budgies now plus two white cockatiels and also a pair of Quaker Parrots (that are nesting). Oops. I forgot my tame Quaker Yma. She is a real card. Calls the dogs and talks up a storm. I had 35 Quakers but the noise became just tooooooo much for even me.
Anyway, welcome, again. You'll enjoy this site, I know.

Their here!:D
They are so cute, one is yellow except for a bright green belly and 2 little white dots under her eyes, the other is almost pure white, only a shade of blue showing thru on her belly. I think I'm going to call the white one Angel and the yellow one either Sunny or my husband wants to name her Harley.
I keep calling them her, but I'm not sure if they are both females. The person who gave them to me says she is pretty sure they are females. Is there anyway to tell?
What kind of toys should I get for them? They have one small mirror and bell and a chain of circles, but I know they should have more then that.

Congradulations on your new additions!!! :D
Well you can never really have to many toys for your little ones. The mirror however might not be a good idea to have in there if you want them to bond to you. They will get attached to the mirror. Budgies love bells. and make sure you have a lot of things for them to climb on and play with. :D:D
There is a way to tell sex. And Bea can probably help you the best with that, but we are going to need a picture.
Those are really sweet names :)
I have a totally white budgie with red eyes (albino)! I love your name choices!
