Homade Natural Toys

Does anyone have any ideas for homemade natural toys?

I don't like to buy the plastic ones you get at the pet shop and it is cheaper to make them yourself anyway.

I recently made a cage cover for my budgies so they dont make the house a mess
what i did was,

1.have a new or old see through curtain
2.measure your cage, length and Width
3.See how Much of that Curtain You Need to Make a Cover For Your Cage
4.Put Your Cage In The Middle of the Curtain Without Your Budgies to See Weather its The Standard Size for them
5. Get a Sewing Machine, Or someone That Has Done Sewing in Your Family To Attach The Sides
6. Make Sure You Have The Bottom Covered, So You Can Put Your Cage In the Middle and Have To Sides, Do Not, i Repeat Do Not Close the Top, Only The Bottom
7. Once Your Finished You Put Your Budgies Food and Water In the Cage
8. Collect All of Your Budgies Put them back into the Cage
9. Close the Cages Door, And See how they Eat and Drink
10. If they Spill Anything On the Floor then Kill me!! it Worked Like a Charm For Me
they Used to Make the Seeds Fly All Over my carpet Now its Only Inside thier Cage and i Clean it From there Which Makes it Easier and More Cleaner,

I like to take shoelaces and string some natural cheerios through them.
They love to nibble at them until they fall off! :)
