RIP to Mipsy....

i had to put her down because she got really old and scaly face... brought her to my good friend the "pet shop owner" near my place.. and he said she had to get put down cause shes in pain alot.... and she had a disease that the other birds in the aviary could catch...

the pet store man.. sadly had to put her down which made my day sad... but he offered my a new bird which is now a green olive female named tweets and a free breeding box...

How old was she? Scaly face is so easy to treat, even if it's severe. Please say that wasn't the reason she was put to sleep. :(

nahz it wasnt cause of jst that not at all.. i knoe scaly face can be treated.. she had some kinda disease that the man said.. and she couldnt fly she was always on the bottom of the cage if not then she'll crawl her way to the top of a branch from the wires of the cage..

Sorry if i sounded rude before, it's just you made it sound like your budgie had been put to sleep purely because it had scaly face and the idea of throwing away a life for something so stupid made me feel ill. I'm really sorry your budgie had to be put down. It's really hard to lose a pet.

I too, am sorry about Mipsy. What a hard decision to make - but you don't want your baby in a lot of pain, either.

I hope that things will soon begin to improve for you. That was nice of the store owner to give you another Budgie and I hope it helps ease the pain a little.
