Hey, I was wondering what foods your budgies like best? I thought it would be good to know for fun, to see whats good for them, and get some ideas on what to give them other then seed for people who arn't sure...
My budgies LOOOOOOOVE peas and corn
And snowy's favourite food is bread
Franks favourite food is peas
And Betty I'm not sure cause she stays in the nest box and frank feeds her lol:p

Well my birds absoloutley LOVEEEEE millet (of course, what bird doesnt?lol) and they like shredded apples, carrots, they love the honeystick, and they also love zuccini (might of spelt that wrong)

Skye absolutely LOVES shredded carrots...the other birds don't really prefer veggies but I'm working on them...lol...The other 3 love their honey sticks lots though.

my budgie loves millet, i got her some fruit mix, but she never touched it, i also got her a treat called trill toppers but she has never touched it, millet is the business for my budgie

They love apples. It cost many attempts and time, but meanwhile they eat it. ;)
Oh, and they like Golliwoog (sorry, just know the german name, but it's a plant).

Another treat my birds love is chickweed!!!! oh gosh they love the stuff...lol

My budgies love finely grated carrots, chopped up cooked broccoli, Shredded Wheat cereal, and of course millet when I actually give it to them (which isn't very often!) :p

A favorite with my budgies was always romane (sp?) lettuce. They LOVED that stuff!!! I don't give that to Misty often, though. But, she loves shredded apples and she likes shredded carrots. She won't eat fresh food anymore, not since merry & pippin left...

Wow bea I never knew they're alowed sweet potato...

Seems like nearly every budgie likes millet..lol :D

Sweet potato is very healthy for them too! Just boil it and mash it up, mix some seeds in the first time too so they pick at the seeds and get the taste of the potato. :D
