Hi I've had my Budgie for about 5 days so far and I love him so much, but today when I came back from school my mom told me he was sick...He has been pooping freen poops, and he like threw up white and pink stuff everywhere... We cleaned it up and got him some antibiotics, he also has his feathers all puffed up and always is closing his eyes...He wats though a little when he can, but he regurgitates some of it sometimes, like one seed at a time. I see him gag then a seed pops out. Please help me I want him to get better...I would be so devistated if my little Robin was to die...
Thank you and please, please pray for my little budgie Robin...Please...

Oh your poor little sweety!! Does your budgie have "vomit" on its feathers around its beak? Does he have a mineral block in his cage? If so, what colour is it? Is there anything (like a wood toy, food item) that is pink or red? Are the droppings runny? Has he ever had normal droppings? (Normal droppings are generally firm with a greenish or brownish outer ring and a whitish center)....
If you are concerned that your budgie is ill, I would bring your budgie to an avian vet as soon as you can. Budgies can deteriorate very quickly once they are visibly ill.....
If you need a vet, try looking one up here:

Yes he does have vomit around his beak, its pinkish and yes he does have toys but nothing pink and he hasnt eaten any anyways...His poop was black with a white center just yesterday and suddenly its turned green and pretty loose... I'll call the vet, keep praying please and more tips would be apreciated too. Thank you.

No the breeder said that it was good stuff, and should really help my little Budgie. Its called Marvel Aid. So yah...I have no money for the vet and my mom says she doesn't want to pay for it.
Edit: It says on the bottle he should drink strictley this for 5 days, should I add some water too somewhere in another bowl if he wants water?

I dont know what to suggest to you, the only thing that comes to my mind is a trip to the vets, but if your parents wont pay for it then there isn't much you can do..Just pray he is not poorly. The green poop sounds like he may be a little stressed, my budgie did this for a couple of days I think it was because its traumatic for them..leaving the mum, going to a pet store, the journey home, then the new surroundings. Skyla is absoloutley fine now though..eating and drinking well she still very bashful..but she will sit and let me hold her and stroke her she just doesnt like coming out of her cage much..hope everything works out for you ok please let me know how you get on xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

He seems to be doing much better now, no more big slimy green poops, and he is not all fluffed up anymore, he is eating and almost looks back to normal. They only thing I ask is that he shakes a little something, like trembeling. And he always seems to scratch under his wings. What does this mean? Thank you! Keep praying please, that way hell be perfect in no time :D
Thank you,
William

Glad to hear he's doing better...Try and still see if u can take him in for a check up. Some budgies get stressed out with new enviroments, diffrent food etc..Here is a good article-http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?cls=15&cat=1829&articleid=2418
PS; Does you mom cook with teflon pots and pans???..If yes read this article please!

Do you have a heat lamp? Then you can put in on half of the cage so the bird can get away. When my budgie was sick, she liked that.
The vet said a red heat lamp can be on all the time.
Do you live near Guelph? They train vets at the University there, and there is a clinic. However, they also charge for the service.
I hope your bird gets better without a vet.

Is he on the same food that he was on with the breeder? It could just be the change in food that set him a bit 'off'. Definitely stress can make poop change colour. I am rather concerned though about giving him antibiotics without knowing if he actually has a bacterial infection of some sort. If your bird is sick for anyother reason, the antibiotics only help the human feel better and not the bird.

Glad to hear he is doing a bit better. Hope he will come around full circle.
On a side note: Does the food you feed him have any colored seeds or pellets in it. Birds will poop in the color their food is. For example. If he ate some beets, then his poop will be reddish. Zupreem has some fruit blend pellets that have different colors. Birds that eat this blend are known to have green/red/yellow/ purple droppings. That's why I personally don't like to feed it. You can't tell whether or not the droppings are normal or not.

I'm happy he is so much better now. Even though he seems healthier, I would still recommend a vet visit just incase.
