Miko was just sitting on the top of his cage eating millet and when I went over to see him he had some dark green mushy liquid on his beak and there was a bit on the cage. Did he throw up or did he just stick his face in his own poo? :P

If the green stuff was runny and all over the place, that dose not sound good. If it is from his poop than thats not good becuase, there poop should not be runny. Look for signs also showing fluffing for a long period of time, not wanting to move around, sleeping alot, not eating are all signs of illness and would not want this bird around my other birds. So you are going to be the best judgement if he needs to go to a vet. Good luck and let us know his outcome!:(

As what Shannon said, make sure it's not poop. If it's a lone male he MIGHT be just regurgatating (really don't know how to spell that:D ) on a part of the cage that he's most attached to. Not sure if it would be green though, knowing that I've never actually seen it!

Well lets hope he's not sick!

I'm pretty sure it was poop now. He is kind of fluffed up but he has been eating and drinking all day and has been active. Maybe he's just resting because it's his bed time soon? :P Is it possible that if he is scared he will have runny poops? I was playing my guitar earlier and he was kind of freaking out.

Thanks for all the comments:)

I do not have any other birds so I don't have to worry about that. There aren't any avian vets around here and he seems to be his usual self. I think it may have been a bit mushy because he pooped on the perch and kind of walked over it.

Thank You!:)

If you feed him a lot of greens, that could be a reason......I hope he's ok! i'd like to hear how he ends up!
